KAH Tequila Añejo is made from 100% Blue Agave and is aged in American Oak casks for at least 12 months. The black bottle design is inspired by the Nicaraguan tradition of Day of the Dead. In Nicaragua, in addition to the standard traditions of building a shrine and gift-giving, many people linger and sleep in the graveyard. It is believed that this act re-enforces the emotional connection between the deceased and those left behind.
Nose: Barrel influence is significant. Caramel and vanilla are prominent with the smoked agave appearing in the background.
Palate: The creamy palate opens up with butter toffee, leafy tobacco and a dash of hot peppers.
Finish: Medium length with a lingering warm spice.
