This year’s release of their 100% Wheat Whisky expression is made from three barrels of well-aged Centennial wheat whiskey. Two of these barrels spent 8 months and 15 months respectively in toasted French oak barrels that were previously used for aging Curaçao. The third barrel of Centennial Wheat Whiskey was hand selected from Laws' older stock near 6 years in age for its rich wheat character.
Nose: Orange flower blossoms with cinnamon (Red Hots rather than Christmas spices).
Palate: Apricot and plums appear on the front of the palate with creamy orange and candied ginger following through from the nose.
Finish: Medium length with dry leather, sarsaparilla, vanilla and cardamom.
