The Bard Distillery may be young but it has deep roots. Set in the bones of a beautiful 1920’s school site, the distillery watches over the historic coal-mining town of Graham, in Muhlenberg County Kentucky. Distiller and Engineer Thomas Bard is the 4th Great-Grandson of William Bard, one of two brothers who founded Bardstown, Kentucky - the Bourbon Capital of the World. The nose develops with time into a rich, sweet fragrance. Not much smoke - surprising given the name.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePalate:\u003c\/strong\u003e Sweet corn starts things off but is quickly replaced by a predominant oakiness. Luckily there is plenty of rich treacle, baking spices and white pepper to balance that off - particularly in the mid-palate. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFinish:\u003c\/strong\u003e Medium-long with a creamy mouthfeel.
