Brimming with generous helpings of hearty peat smoke (including single malts from the likes of Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila, and the much-loved Port Ellen) it's the perfect way for any Islay whisky fan to celebrate Christmas in 2022.
Nose: Maritime sea spray, peat smoke, ash, fresh citrus, oak, roasted marshmallows. licorice
Palate: Oily mouthfeel. Salinity carries through from the nose, honey, wood smoke and ashes. On the back palate there is cracked black pepper and citrus0.
Finish: Earthy charcoal and vegetal peat linger. Oily tar, coastal breeze carry on straight through from the nose.
