Cadenhead's Jamaican Green Label Rum is a blend of several aged rums from Jamaica. All are at least 13 years old. As with all rums from the independent bottler Cadenhead, this rum has not been chill filtered nor coloured any manner.
Nose: Leans towards banana. The vanilla and raisins start a very pastry-like turn, as does the amaretto-like almond, which gives a sweet liqueur side
Palate: Quite dry and spicy. Blueberry tannins oscillate between grip and delicacy, the leather is a little spicy and fanciful, then the exotic fruits that have patiently matured and fermented give all they have.
Finish: Long and lingering with the sultanas finally finishing after a good long time.
