Prior to their arrival, a local entrepreneur set out to craft a whiskey that the King and Queen and created what he believed to be the perfect whiskey and called it Crown Royal. At the beginning of their journey, the King and Queen were gifted ten cases of the whiskey from Canada to enjoy on their journey. Crown Royal Noble Collection Winter Wheat pays tribute to this history and is a limited release Blended Canadian Whisky. The mash is 51% winter wheat, 39% corn and 10% non-malted barley.
Nose: The nose opens with praline, banana bread, and toasted oak.
Palate: The mouthfeel is creamy with bread pudding and toffee notes.
Finish: Buttery smooth with a touch of warmth and lingering cinnamon and toasted oak.
