The Glen Elgin distillery creates a single malt with a beautiful fruity and floral style. Casks of Glen Elgin are an absolute pleasure to nose and taste. The piper is a great character to represent Glen Elgin; it matches the varied notes of Glen Elgin – be those light and floral or deep, and at times herbal. Glen Elgin excels in American oak, where the soft vanilla and hints of spice enhance the distillery character. Expect a sweet beginning and a long and rewarding finish from this exceptional Speyside distillery.

Nose: Toasted brioche and vanilla sponge cake promise a sweet single malt. Freshly cut and grass-toasted oak offer more subtle complexities.
Palate: Buttery and oily popcorn with sweet brown sugar and almond. With water added, fresh green notes of pear and cardamom rise to the fore and then make way to a waxy and prickly peppery note of anise.
Finish: Elegant and refined. Crisp apple and then into sweet malt and salted caramel popcorn. Faint spiciness develops and drifts off to provide a medium-long finish.
