This expression was distilled at Dublin’s Pearse Lyons Distillery and is a unique four-cask blend of single malts and grain whiskies that were matured between four and ten years. One of the malts was aged in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels while another was aged in refill bourbon and finished in Port wine pipes. The grain whiskies were matured in a combination of sherry and “double-charred” refill bourbon casks.
Nose Warm date squares with vanilla, whipped cream.
Palate Christmas pudding with hard sauce and slivered, sugared almonds.
Finish Jammy sweetness with the vanilla carrying through from the nose.
