he original reposado. Tequila Herradura introduced the world to Reposado in 1974 and has been setting the standard ever since. With the agave hearts roasted in traditional clay ovens, and fermented using only the local wild yeasts native to the casa, Herradura Reposado is aged after distillation in American oak barrels for 11 months to allow the flavours of this tequila to mature.
Nose: Agave, vanilla, and caramel along with a mild hit of alcohol burn and light notes of orange peel and cedar.
Palate: A pleasantly medium bodied tequila, lightly coating the tongue and showcasing a mélange of spice notes, light oak and agave along with vanilla and a slight earthy flavour.
Finish: Light, with more baking spice flavours and vanilla before ending with a very pleasant agave note.
