This also is Kavalan's first fully peated single malt whisky.
Gentle fruity peat with mild smoke tones. Vanilla & honey cascade to stewed fruits as the dram sits in the glass... Very little alcohol on the nose.
Tangy tropical fruits in the foreground, dark rich berry leads to a smooth vanilla finish. The tropical fruit give way to coconut and chocolate as the second & third sips are enjoyed... Very balanced
The slightly smoked, stewed fruit finish, leaves you wanting more...
