Knob Creek Twice Barrelled Rye takes the standard Knob Creek Straight Rye and secondarily finishes it in new, charred American oak barrels.
Nose: Sweetness, baking spices, oaky vanilla and a hint of candied orange.
Palate: Full-bodied and toasty, albeit neither overly spicy nor complex, from start to finish. The second barreling does its job of imparting a sweetness – with notes of tamarind and dark caramel.
