From west coast distillery, Victoria Caledonia, comes a whisky that speaks oF highland heather and the peat from whence it grows. Malt and floral heather are blown around the glass in a dance with Islay brine, oil and gentle smoke. This is a blended Malt Scotch Whisky that contains: Blair Athol, Clynelish, Ardmore & Caol Ila - and maintains the DNA of each individual component. And after a protracted lawsuit and subsequent negotiation with the Scotch Whisky Association, Victoria Caledonia has agreed to 're-brand' some of its products ... so this could become a real collectors item (sold out in BC ... only available in Alberta now). And who doesn't need a 'lawsuit' whisky in their collection.
