Mountain Pass is the whisky of the Canadian North, a taste of Canada's beautiful land. The whisky pays homage to the North by using glacier water sourced from the Alpine region of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The whisky is distilled at the Fort Distillery in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and then aged between 4 and 6 years in ex-fill bourbon casks. The mashbill is 100% corn.
Nose: A touch of roasted nuts, leather and more than a fair share of maple syrup on the nose.
Palate: The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and is nicely balanced with a pleasing mid-palate softness.
Finish: Long, drying and spicy.
