This bottling is the Second product in the “NIKKA DISCOVERY Series” It was developed to “discover” the diversity, depth and unexpectedness of whisky. This particular expression is an easy-sipping Yoichi that shows off its true Nikka character.
Nose: Apricot, baked apple, raspberry, licorice, dark fruit berries.
Palate: Sweet but savoury - brown sugar, apple skin, juicy pear and slightly oaky. Peppery on the back palate.
Finish: Eucalyptus and liquorice initially. Finishes with apple, pear, and slight pepper.
