Part of the North Star Cask 11 Spirit selection comes this 11 year old single malt from Caol Ila. Distilled at this iconic Islay distillery in September 2009 and bottled in October 2020 from a single, first-fill Oloroso sherry butt. This expression has no added colour and is non-chill filtered. The total outturn was 410 bottles and it displays a fine balance of sherry and peat.
Nose: Fireworks and citrus Cuban smoke.
Palate: Lemon Sherbet, white pepper and vanilla pod sweetness.
Finish: Smokey cranberry and pistachio ice cream.
