Nose: Confectionary, honeyed peaches and cream. Nasturtium and rose petal florals. Lemon zest with herbal notes of thyme and basil and a hint of deep heat.
Palate: Sweet, juicy and effervescent with a nice viscosity in the mouth. There’s blackcurrant, sweet toffee apples, red berries and fragrant malted barley in the mid-palate. The swallow brings Chantilly cream, hazelnut and almond.
Finish: Granary toast with plenty of melted butter and that creaminess remains throughout the bittersweet finish.
