Mach 4 is 4 times the speed of sound - or 7948.55 kph. This whisky was named in honour of Cosmology genius Ernst Mach. With an outturn of 716 bottles this non-chill filtered limited edition was distilled in 2013, aged in sherry butts and bottled in 2021.
Nose: Berries and cherries, caramel and chocolate, sweaty oak, currants and raisins and rosemary.
Palate: The before mentioned flavors keep follow this path with more fresh red fruit and Werther's original.
Finish: The aftertaste is wonderfully juicy, full and pleasant. A few drops of water give the fruit notes more space to evolve into more fruit notes.
