Distilled at Speyside's Mortlach distillery in May 2007 and matured in a refill hogshead for a decade before bottling in May 2017, this single cask expression is part of independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co's Old Malt Cask range. Only 246 bottles have been produced, each one at a strength of 50% abv.The nose is sweet with caramel, chocolate and dried ham. The palate is smooth with coffee, dried fruits and milk chocolate notes before a long, lingering oak on the finish.
