Tawse's first release of Canadian Whisky is a marriage of Canadian grains, expertly blended and aged 3 years in American oak. The whisky was then transferred to Pinot Noir barrels and aged a further 15 months. This dual cask aging process enhances flavours, aromas and colours.
Nose: Caramel aroma accented by a wheat-y note of spicy citrus
Palate: Toasted oak, vanilla and Creme Brûlée notes.
Finish: Short, dry and crisp. The spicy citrus returns.
