The company thought long and hard on what to do next and thus, The Prideful Goat Straight Rye Whiskey was born. This 6-Year 95% Rye from an all too familiar Indiana distillery ... or is it? We, at Whisky Drop, might throw a name like "Gulf Coast Distillers" out there ... just to kickstart this conversation. The Prideful Goat Straight Rye Whiskey is a fantastic, reasonably priced straight rye whiskey that is meant to be shared amongst friends. Welcome to the herd, “Baby Goat.”
Nose: Not overwhelming but still complex. Toffee, graham cracker, nutmeg and some citrus notes.
Palate: Following through from the nose, toffee, caramel and still some citrus still very present on the whole palate.
Finish: Long with subtle leather and a dark fruit sweetness at the end.
