As Douglas Laing’s mighty mouse searches the globe to find the ultimate flavour profile to be paired with cheese, this latest release sees this classic Highland Malt carefully finished over several months in the finest, and indeed sweetest, Port casks, releasing a new depth of character to our already sublime spirit.
Nose: Highland honey with a spicy touch, followed by black currants and cocoa.
Palate: A medley of vanilla, malted barley, meringue, honey and citrus flavours just bursting to be unleashed.
Finish: Subtle yet sweet. Long-lasting with nuances of allspice, chocolate and gently toasted oak.
