This 8-year-old single cask Dailuaine, released by Adelphi, was distilled in 2015 & rested in an ex-Bourbon barrel (Cask #312012) until 2023, when it was bottled without chill-filtration or added colour.
Total worldwide outturn: 290 bottles.
Nose: Thick sherry, strawberry liquorice, garden raspberries, dark chocolate and hazelnuts.
Palate: Sweet, with notes of molasses, espresso, dark chocolate, wood in sherry, spices, thick caramel, coffee candies, roasted nuts, and chilli peppers.
Finish: Medium length, Werther's caramel and oak spice.
