Wild Life Wheat Whisky is made from 100% locally grown grains. The whisky was milled, mashed, fermented, distilled and aged by Wild Life Distillery. This expression demonstrates that Wild Life Distillery is committed to growing the Alberta-made whisky category while, hopefully, inspiring whisky lovers to support local distillers.
Mash Bill: 61% Wheat, 26% Barley, 13% Rye
Nose: Vanilla, caramel apple and hint of forest floor.
Palate: Medium-dense mouthfeel with the caramel flowing through from the nose. Cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg on the edges of the tongue.
Finish: Shorter than expected with only the spices lingering. Very satisfying.
