‘Sinteis’ (pronounced sin-teesh) means ‘synthesis’ in Scottish Gaelic. Each Sinteis release embodies GlenAllachie's cask creativity, merging two bold yet complementary wood types to craft unparalleled expressions.
Combining single malt matured in Oloroso Sherry casks with spirit from French Limousin virgin oak barrels, this 2014 vintage unveils indulgent layers of dark chocolate and roasted coffee entwined with nutmeg and gentle oak warmth.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Orange zest, nutmeg and dried orchard fruits, with honeycomb, maraschino cherries, mocha and crystalised brown sugar.
Palate: Heather honey, spiced orange and baked apple, followed by winter truffle, Muscovado sugar.
Finish: Cinnamon, with hazelnuts and mocha.
