For over forty years, Master of Malt has sought out and bottled the world's most remarkable spirits — from legendary distilleries to hidden gems. Each limited-edition release is chosen by a small band of passionate whisky enthusiasts for its character, rarity, and story.
Distilled in 2009, this belter from Bunnahabhain aged for 15 years in a refill bourbon hogshead, and, as always, was bottled without chill filtration and at natural colour.

Master of Malts Tasting Notes
Nose: Grilled peach and creamy apricot, vanilla fudge, shortbread, and burnt biscuits. Browned butter, more stone fruits, and sweet black tea.
Palate: Silky butterscotch opens the way, with ripe fruit, condensed milk, creamy caramel, and earthy tea. Treacle sponge and gentle woody spices gather beneath.
Finish: Flambéed fruit, vanilla ice cream, a hint of clove, roasted coffee. Jelly sweets, burnt cream, and warming nutmeg linger.
