Shinobu Oloroso Sherry Single Cask Japanese Single Malt Whisky was matured in a rare Oloroso Sherry Butt, showcasing the rich fruitiness, nutty aromas, and elegant sweetness characteristic of Oloroso sherry barrels.
Shinobu is made by Ken Usami, who founded Niigata Beer 20 years ago, before obtaining a whisky license in 2018.
Shinobu Distillery combines traditional Japanese distillation with modern craftsmanship to produce a rich, layered, and enduring spirit.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dried dark fruits, roasted cashews and sherry sweetness.
Palate: Notes of sandalwood, incense, gentle spice, and subtle coconut
Finish: Long, persistent finish, featuring dried fruit and nutty notes.
