Since 2005, Kavalan Distillery has been pioneering the art of single malt whisky in Yilan County, Taiwan, with the Classic Single Malt exemplifying the quality and craftsmanship of Taiwanese whisky.
Kavalan's distilling process and ageing techniques, working in tandem with the humid Taiwanese climate, create diverse and complex whisky that belies its age.
Fresh and clean, the spirit is rich in silky smoothness and hints of tropical fruits, with mango being a notable presence.
Nose: Clean, elegant, floral, fruity, and seductive. With hints of honey, tropical fruits, pear drop, vanilla, coconuts and suggestions of chocolate.
Palate: A hint of sweet mango juice with that spicy complexity
Finish: Gentle warmth on a medium, oily and citrus finish.
