Founder and owner, Ed Carey, came across the historic brand, S. N. PIKE’S MAGNOLIA SPIRITS, which started in 1849 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Pike sourced the very best bourbon and whiskey and sold them throughout the United States and into Europe. Magnolia Spirits were highly sought after spirits until Prohibition put the company, along with many others, out of business. In 2020, Ed and his daughter, Meagan, revived the long-lost brand in Columbus, Ohio. The goal in recreating Pike's Magnolia Spirits brand is to act in the Samuel Pike tradition by seeking out and sourcing special quality bourbon and whiskey.
