Baldur's Canadian Whisky Release No. 006 is a bold yet refined expression of wheated rye whisky, crafted in small batches.
This release embodies the delicate balance between strength and subtlety, where soft Saskatchewan wheat tempers the rye’s signature spice, resulting in a whisky that is both confident and remarkably smooth.
Baldur’s (formerly known as LMD Whisky)carries on a tradition of excellence. Saskatchewan grains are milled and mashed on-site, ensuring the freshest ingredients go into every bottle.
Each release then undergoes a unique process — first in new charred oak casks for boldness and finished in bespoke casks for a touch of unexpected flavour.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Warm notes of honey and baked bread, followed by gentle hints of orchard fruit and toasted grain.
Palate: The palate unfolds gracefully, revealing layers of vanilla, clove, and caramelised oak.
Finish: Silky and lingering, with whispers of sweet spice and wood-smoked warmth.
