This 10-year-old Highland whisky was released under independent bottler Brave New Spirit’s WhiskyHeroes range, a lineup of single-cask whiskies and small-batch releases hand-selected for their distinctive character.
Distilled at the Ardmore Distillery in 2014, "Rise of The Ardphraoig Mutant" is a 10-year-old peated highland whisky finished in second-fill Laphroaig barrels.
An intriguing layering of Ardmore's signature smoky vanilla and caramel notes with the intensity of Islay peat.

Nose: Roasted chestnuts, campfire smoke, citrus zest, sea salt, vanilla, and white pepper.
Palate: Ashy fireplace logs, saltiness, orchard fruits - especially apples, honey, vanilla, and citrus carry from the nose.
Finish: Medium length, although the smoke lingers for a good long while, with a slightly drying note at the end.
