Every bottle of J. Henry & Sons bourbon is made in small batches, slow-aged, in large barrels in a rustic barn on the Henry farmstead.

The uncontrolled temperature in this historic barn allows the wild Wisconsin weather swings to work magic between the bourbon and the barrels. The result is a pure Wisconsin craft bourbon.

This Expression represents the best barrels in the Henry rickhouse, so good that there is no need to proof them down, or blend them together with other barrels to hide their uniqueness. These single barrels are bottled at cask strength to maintain the purest expression of J. Henry's product.

Nose: Cinnamon hearts and candy corn. Vanilla is there but muted.

Palate: Vanilla carries through from the nose and is joined by Kraft caramels. Flavours more vibrant with a few drops of water. The water also brings some citrus to the fore.

Finish: Medium length, flavours from the palate are joined by grassy notes.
