In 2001, Alberta Distillers began laying down particular batches of liquid, a practice that was continued for the next decade.
Batch 10 Legacy Reserve brings you a blend of liquid from all 10 years, hand-selected by distillery staff, to create the best tasting expression possible from each year's unique taste profile.
Once the blend was created, it was further aged in new white oak, ex-fill bourbon and ex-fill Canadian whisky barrels.
Producer Tasting Notes
Nose: Dark chocolate and slightly oaky with fruity notes of dried prunes, warm pear and banana
Palate: Rich espresso and dark chocolate, balanced with a hint of banana and toffee
Finish: Smooth and creamy
