Càrn Mòr, from Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, is solely owned and operated by one of Scotland’s oldest and most prominent whisky families, Jamie and Brian Morrison.
Their reputation within the industry gives access to a wide variety of unique and exceptional casks from pedigree distilleries across Scotland.
This single malt from the Aultmore Distillery in Speyside was distilled in 2012 and filled into ex-bourbon barrels to mature for 9 years.
Nose: Delicate orchard fruit, creme brûlée and butterscotch.
Palate: Excellent mouthfeel with malt and honey. Some heat with baking spices on the back palate.
Finish: Long and lingering with the spices mellowing and malt coming back.
