This twice-barrelled release was fully matured in virgin oak barrels, then finished in fresh, custom-toasted, flash-charred barrels specially crafted by Elijah Craig's cooperage partners.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Toasted oak with rich caramel.
Palate: Big, rich, and complex, with delightful spice and pepper notes that fade to milk chocolate and just a hint of smoke.
Finish: Nicely warming, with lingering chocolate and baking spices.
