RyeLaw Vintage 2017 is a single distillery Fife Rye Scotch Whisky made from malted rye and barley. It is hammer-milled, mashed, outdoor-fermented, precision-distilled, and matured in new charred oak casks at InchDairnie Distillery in Fife. RyeLaw is the world’s only precision-distilled malted rye Scotch whisky.
Mash Bill: 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley, a high rye content for Scotch.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Distinguished rye spiciness, mingling with mellow oak, above a soft layer of vanilla.
Palate: Cascading pepper from the rye caressingly wrapped in mouth-coating oily viscosity, with sweet biscuity, cereal, and dried fruit notes.
Finish: Lingering spice, sweet toffee, roasted almonds, and dried fruits, with a tingling, peppery sensation.
