Springbank 30 Year Old (2026)

Springbank 30 year old makes a celebration of true Victorian whisky production at Scotland's most traditional distillery. Long established production techniques, together with the knowledge and experience of Springbank's  craftsmen, are used to malt barley on traditional malting floors and distill this most handcrafted of spirits. The new make spirit is then filled info high calibre oak casks and matured in Springbank's warehouses in Campbeltown until it is judged to be ready. The whisky is then bottled at the onsite bottling hall, making Springbank the only distillery in Scotland which is genuinely able to say that 100% of the process is carried out onsite. Total worldwide turnout: 1200 bottles.

Cask makeup: 85% refill bourbon, 15% Sherry

Producer's Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft candle smoke and manuka honey sweetness open this dram, and the complexity builds in notes of cranberries, white pepper, potpourri and orange.

Palate: Notes of honeycomb, icing sugar, crystallised ginger and demerara sugar emerge on the palate, along with a brine, salt note reminiscent of salted caramel. 

Finish: Peat smoke continues to the finish, with notes of eucalyptus, mint and gorse bush.
