Distilling began at Tanduay began distilling in the 1850s and is the oldest among the Lucio Tan Group’s subsidiaries. It carries the distinction of being one of the biggest brands in the distilled spirits category with a 99% share in the Philippine rum category. It is also the largest selling rum brand in the world.
Nose: Sweet coconut note with hints of oak.
Palate: Spice and oak initially followed by an enjoyable spicy/sweet note. The mid palate gives a mix of light spice, oak and coconut nutty notes.
Finish: Short finish with no lingering aftertastes.
