Boann Distillery is an independent, family-run distillery situated in the heart of the Boyne Valley. Dedicated to reviving the true character of Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey through heritage mash bills and modern expertise.
This expression was initially, matured in ex-Bourbon Barrels from the famed Brown Forman of Kentucky and made from American Oak 200ltr (Quercus Alba) with a heavy charring.
Then, in collaboration with the famous Madeira house, Justino’s, Boann's sourced a number of the finest vintage Madeira casks: Tinta Negro (1998 & 2000), Boal (1999) and Sercial (1999, 2000 & 2006) Madeira Colheita wine single varietals.

Finish: A long and crisp finish with fresh lemon oil and a lingering savoury spice.
