Cameronbridge is the largest and, some say, the oldest grain distillery in Europe. In 1829, John Stein installed a patent (column) still, the first version of the column still invented by his cousin, Robert Stein. When Aeneas Coffey improved Stein's design, Cameronbridge co-owner John Haig installed one as well.
This 12-year-old release from Signatory’s 100 Proof Grain Collection is a single grain whisky from the Cameronbridge Distillery. This expression was produced in a column still and aged exclusively in first-fill bourbon barrels, enhancing the spirit's natural mellow and sweet character.
