This 9 year old single malt from the Dailuaine Distillery was distilled in 2012 and finished in Sauternes wine casks. In 2021, it was bottled by Càrn Mòr as part of the Strictly Limited series.
Sauternes wine is known for its bold, bright, vibrant sweetness, and there'll be helpings of that sweetness imparted to this whisky's flavour profile.
Nose: Anise, caramel, oat cakes, tangy citrus peels and plums.
Palate: More caramel, root ginger, honey, and a hint of roasted almond.
Finish: Cinnamon sweeties and vanilla essence.
