‘Sinteis’ (pronounced sin-teesh) means ‘synthesis’ in Scottish Gaelic. Each Sinteis release embodies GlenAllachie's cask creativity, merging two bold yet complementary wood types to craft unparalleled expressions.
Marrying single malt matured in Oloroso Sherry casks with spirit from rare Scottish virgin oak barrels has resulted in a harmonious fusion of dark chocolate, grated nutmeg and citrus fruits.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Mocha, grilled honeycomb and sun-dried red berries, with cinnamon butter, toasted lemon peel and muscovado sugar.
Palate: Heather honey, citrus and warmed baking spices, followed by gingersnaps and poached orchard fruits.
Finish: Mocha and vanilla buttercream.
