Ledaig, pronounced “Let-chick,” is a single malt produced at the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull.

Founded in 1798, Tobermory is one of the oldest commercial distilleries in Scotland, producing two distinct styles of whisky: the unpeated Tobermory and the peated Ledaig.

What makes the Living Souls Ledaig 18 truly rare and remarkable is the combination of these two single malts.

By blending the robust, smoky character of Ledaig with the subtle, fruity notes of Tobermory, the Living Souls team has created a whisky with a unique, complex flavour profile.

And, because both Ledaig and Tobermory are produced at the same distillery, this whisky can call itself a single malt Scotch.

Nose: Subtle nose with a bit of barnyard funk, orchard fruit and wet earth.

Palate: Elegant and light, pleasant peat smoke. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, no doubt due to the proof. Fruit holds from the nose, and a hint of old leather is introduced.

Finish: Medium length. Slightly dry and ashy.
