The 2025 edition of "The Macallan Double Cask 18 Year Old" is characterized by the perfect combination of European and American oak casks, seasoned with sherry wine in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and warm notes of dried fruit and ginger dominate at first, before subtle nuances of creamy vanilla, dark chocolate and toasted almonds
Palate: On the palate, the whisky is creamy and viscous. A sweet direction begins the experience with Mackintosh's toffee and ripe Medjool dates.
Finish: The finish is long, spicy and silky. Hints of sweet oak, dried fruit and cocoa linger long after the last drop.
