Passion for single malt Scotch whisky has been at the heart of the Urquhart family business for four generations. This range is an ever-changing collection of unique perspectives on distilleries’ own bottlings, non-chill-filtered single cask and small batch expressions bottled at cask strength — exceptional one-offs.
This expression was distilled in 2000, aged in a first fill Sherry Butt, and bottled in 2024.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Toffee apples and cocoa powder give way to lemon peel. Bright vanilla pod develops alongside cinnamon spice and a faint herbal edge.
Palate: Stewed plums and dark chocolate are balanced by soft black pepper. Orange oil and butterscotch leads to mature oak.
Finish: Long and spicy with lingering menthol.
