Nc'Nean Quiet Rebels "Gordon" Single Malt was chosen by distillery manager, Gordon.
This expression is a delicious combination of STR red wine (74%), ex-sherry (19%) and ex-Rivesaltes (7%) casks.
Nc'nean is an independent, organic whisky distillery dedicated to creating experimental spirits and pioneering sustainable production.
The inspiration for the name, Neachneohain (Queen of the Spirits), was an ancient Gaelic goddess known as a fierce protector of nature.
Cask mix: 74% STR red wine, 7% ex-Rivesaltes, 19% ex-sherry.
Nose: Wine-soaked red berries, honey, and a distinctive yeasty note
Palate: Crème brûlée, spiced plum jam, candied orange peel alongside honey and stewed fruits. Red fruits (red grapes, red berries, cherries) throughout.
Finish: Long and sweet. Velvety, rich, and creamy.
