Although the distillery's name was not allowed on the label, Watt Whisky Sherried Speyside 14 spent 8.5 years in a refill hogshead and 2.5 years in first-fill sherry octaves.
It was then decanted into a tired cask (3rd-fill hogshead) to mellow it out before being bottled at 55.1% ABV.
Mark and Kate Watt launched Watt Whisky in 2019 through Campbeltown Whisky Company Ltd., bringing over 40 years of combined experience in the Scotch whisky industry.
True to their straightforward philosophy — “if it tastes good, bottle it” — all releases are unchillfiltered, at natural colour, and typically cask strength, letting the spirit's character speak for itself.

Nose: Stewed fruit, oak spices and a hint of barnyard funk.
Palate: Weighty and ashy with sugared plums, boozy raisins and Christmas spice.
Finish: Long, funky and spicy.
