From your first sip of this new 15-year-old expression, you’ll fully appreciate that time maturing exclusively in the finest sherry oak casks. Sherry casks are absolutely essential for the flavour and colour of Tamdhu. In fact, one of the most exciting times at the distillery is when a new batch of casks is delivered from Spain.
Nose: Dense fruitcake, dried figs, plenty of raisins and rich toffee.
Palate: Intense burst of vibrant summer fruits with strong spicy notes morphing into blackcurrant and waxy orange peel.
Finish: A rewardingly long finish of dried fruits, chocolate and a hint of oak.
