Armorik Whisky Breton 10 Year French Single Malt spent a decade ageing in bourbon casks before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks.

It is the result of a clever blend of the best barrels, demonstrating the distillery's ageing capabilities and the know-how of its master blender.

Founded in 1900 in Lannion, Brittany's pink coast, Armorik began as a spirits distillery producing fruit-based liqueurs.

In 1984, the decision was made to begin distilling whisky. In 1987, the first Breton and the first French-blended whisky were launched and became an immediate hit. This led to the first French and Breton single malt being released in 1998.

In 2015, "Breton Whisky" was designated a geographic indicator to ensure that all "Breton Whisky" is properly mashed, fermented, distilled, and aged in Brittany. 

Producer's Tasting Notes

Nose: Expressive and intense with notes of exotic fruit, dried raisins, pastry, and elegant wood (fresh oak and vanilla).

Palate: Complex and round, featuring sweet exotic fruits, honey, liquorice, vanilla and banana.

Finish: Long, with notes of charred wood, toasted bread, red fruits, and pepper.
