Pearse Lyons 12 Single Malt Irish Whiskey is the ‘Founder’s Choice’ expression personally sourced by Dr. Pearse Lyons, prior to his passing in 2018.
It's a single malt Irish Whiskey aged for a minimum of 12 years in former bourbon barrels from Pearse Lyons' sister distillery, the Town Branch Distillery in Lexington, Kentucky.
It's the first Pearse Lyons release to carry an age statement.
Nose: Toasted oak, chocolate, along with pears, apples, peaches and tangerines.
Palate: Initial orange peel, followed by herbal notes and Honeysuckle.
Finish: Medium finish with warming orange, ginger and clove.
