This Cadenhead Engima is from a distillery located on the Isle of Orkney.
It rested for a full eight years in refill, ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at cask strength without added colour or chill filtration.
Nose: Tropical fruit salad, chewy toffee bar, shortcrust pastry.
Palate: Papaya, guava, plantain, croissant, syrup.
Finish: Tangy. Himalayan pink salt, ripe bananas.
